Educational Development happens by working closely with Belizean school administrators to learn about specific opportunities and address obstacles facing faculty, teachers and their students. As needs are identified, we collaborate with educators to design programs that the Belizeans can implement.
Goal: to collaborate with educators to design programs that will benefit specific needs within schools. Serving administrators and their students to build higher levels of achievement.
We introduced the Wilson Reading Program to enable teachers to know how to specifically help a child learn to read and comprehend. As a result, test scores have rapidly improved in the schools where this program was implemented. We also introduced Wordly Wise, a 12-level vocabulary building program. This program has been instrumental in Belizean schools, since many of the students come from a Spanish language background but are required to learn English.
